Something terrible and disturbing grabs Jane Harper’s attention along the river side when she was on a peaceful walk with her furry friend.

She Had a painful cry of a dog echoing through the air, which made her quickly look towards the riverbank.

Without wasting time, she ran towards the source of painfully crying. To the greatest shock and surprise of her life, she discovered a Belgian Shepherd that was desperately struggling in the water.

However, she decides to make a closer examination, just for her to even end up discovering something even more shocking.

The struggling dog was tied to a hefty rock inside a duffel bag, meaning some had deliberately trapped the dog by its leash.

She immediately understood that the situation isn’t just a regular thing where a dog accidentally fell into a river. Someone very terrible and evil had purposely tried to hurt the poor dog by trying to drown it.

So, Jane understood she had to do something quickly in order to help the poor dog survive.

Thankfully, with her good heart and determination, she was able to rescue the dog from the water.

However, she didn’t stop there. She rushed and took the Belgian Shepherd who was later named Bella, to the nearby animal doctor.

On getting to the vet, the vet team wasted no time and got into action as fast as possible. They worked hard to ensure Bella was okay and could recover from the terrible experience.

God so good, all their hard work paid off, Bella started getting better slowly.

Shortly after, the police got involved in this, and Jane narrated to them what had happened, so the authorities got into action and started looking into it.

The most interesting part is that Bella had a tiny chip put inside her in 2010, and because of that, the police were able to figure out who the owner was.

This was a really important piece of information that led the police straight to a 31 years old woman named Charlene Latham.

Without wasting any time, Latham was immediately arrested on suspicion of committing animal cruelty offenses without wasting any time.

Luckily, it seems Bella the Belgian Shepherd dog got her justice. Because later on after they went to court, Latham admitted that she tried to drown Bella.

Why at this time, Bella was already making progress at the vet hospital. All thanks to the hard working vet team.

She wasn’t very strong, but at least she had begun to show some positive signs as time went on. And everyone is hoping for her complete recovery in the future.

This brave dog still has a long way to go, but thanks to Jane’s care and the dedication of the vet team and police, she has a shot at a brighter future, away from cruelty.
